As a self-confessed introvert, I secretly rejoiced during the pandemic about being released from day-to-day human interactions. I thought these mandated social distancing rules would actually turn out to be a blessing in disguise. However, though hiding in the basement at my parents’ place for the first couple of weeks was relaxing, I was surprised when I started longing for normal human interactions again.Â
